PCEB launches new MICE campaign

Penang, 16th July: Recently, the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) launched new campaign, “Penang 2020: BE Unfiltered,” with the aim of enhancing appeal of Penang for business events. The new campaign consists of a new mobile app, a support programme for business events, a CSR initiative and an extended airline partnership.

The new mobile app, PCEB Mobile App, offers general information on Penang, a meeting planners’ guide, and a calendar listing upcoming events and other business gatherings. Some subsidies will be offered to events hosted in Penang through support programme.

The CSR programme, Penang Turtle Cares, allows business events and organises to contribute towards improving nature conservation facilities in Penang. In addition, PCEB and Malaysia Airlines have extended their strategic partnership until end of 2020 offering discounted rates or complimentary tickets to qualified organisers.
