Hong Kong, 19th June: Earlier this week, Hong Kong-listed Pico Far East Holdings announced its interim results for the six months ended 30th April 2019. Revenues were US$315 million, representing year-on-year growth of 8%. Profit from core operations in the first half increased by 5.5%, amounting to US$24 million. Diluted earnings per share in the six-month period were HK$0.0995 (US$0.013).
More than 83% of Pico’s revenues were generated from its exhibition & event marketing services business, amounting to US$262 million. This business increased 4.9% year-on-year. The remaining revenues were generated from its museum, themed environments, interior & retail business (US$26 million), its visual branding experiences business (US$19 million), and its conference & show management business (US$8.2 million).
