Sydney, 17th April: Sydney is set to open a new convention centre, the Infinity Convention Centre in September this year. The centre will include classroom-style space for up to 65 people, cocktail reception space for 450 people, banquets for 370 people and an auditorium able to accommodate 430 people.
The centre is a part of a A$575 million (US$412 million) developed by the Crown Group. In addition to the event spaces, the development will also feature Infinity Tower – a 20-storey building which will include a 90-room hotel (opening in July) and 326 luxury apartments. It will also have a dining and a retail zone. The site will also feature full-scale kitchen facilities to cater for large functions.
