New MICE venue in Delhi

Delhi, 9th October: According to various media reports, India is planning a new integrated complex to serve the meetings and corporate events sector in Delhi New Capital Region (NCR). It will be named the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC).

 

The overall development will cost an estimated 260 billion rupees (US$3.5 billion). Construction on the development has started. IICC will be developed in two phases. Phase 1 is scheduled to be completed by December 2019 and Phase 2 will be completed by December 2024. The new venue will feature five exhibition halls, a one-kilometre-long foyer, as well as a multipurpose arena with a retractable roof.
