HKTDC’s exhibitions revenues reach US$250 million

Hong Kong, July: Recently, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) published its annual report for the financial year ended 31st March 2017. Revenues generated from exhibitions and missions were US$250 million – that represents moderate growth of 1.7% year-on-year. The HKTDC’s total revenues, including the government subvention of US$50 million, were US$362 million – a 2.1% increase compared with last year.

Revenues from its magazines and online marketplace dropped 11% versus the previous year, slipping to US$21 million. Revenues generated from the operations of the HKTDC-owned Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) were US$23 million – essentially the same as last year.
