Read MoreBangkok, 9th September: Earlier this week, Pico Thailand, the Thai-listed subsidiary of Pico Far East Holdings, released its financial results for the quarter ended 31st July 2019. Revenues in the quarter were US$8.2 million dropping 43% compared to the same quarter in 2018. The company’s profits in the quarter also recorded a decline – down 64% year-on-year to US$151,000.

An estimated 570,000 delegates including nearly 209,000 international delegates will deliver an estimated economic impact of RM3.9 billion (US$934 million). The events will be held from the second half of this year through to 2028.

MCH will sell its stake to Angus Montgomery (HK) Limited. No financial details of the acquisition were disclosed.

Read MoreHong Kong, 30th August: SEEC Media Group, a Hong Kong-listed media company, recently announced its financial results for the first half of 2019. Revenues in the six-month period were just US$4.6 million, a decline of 56% year-on-year. However, the company managed to reduce its overall loss from the US$12.5 million recorded in the first half of 2018 down to US$6.5 million in the first half of this year.

In the quarter, a total of 357 MICE events were held in Macau, 30 events more than in the second quarter of 2018. However, the total number of participants in the second quarter decreased 14%, down to 353,000.

The report also features additional statistics and commentary on likely trends for the coming year.
