Mumbai, 12th June: The inaugural edition of Cosmoprof India opened on 12th June at the Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC). A total of 232 companies from 23 countries participated in the event – covering an exhibition area of 10,260 m2.
Organised by BolognaFiere and UBM India, the show ran until 14th June and it focused on the future of the beauty industry in India. Cosmoprof India exhibitors featured a wide range of products including ingredients/raw materials, machinery and equipment, primary and secondary packaging services and finished products. Trade visitors included wholesalers, distributors, sales agents, manufacturers, packaging and machinery specialists and suppliers, salon owners and retailers.
Highlights of the show included: Cosmoprof Onstage providing opportunities to selected exhibiting companies; the Cosmoprof India Awards celebrating quality and research in the Indian beauty segment; and CosmoTrends addressing the main trends impacting the industry.

CEFE – China Emergency and Fire Exhibition was first held in 2017, the safety and security industry. With support of INTERSCHUTZ, the world’s leading trade fair for fire and rescue services, civil protection, safety and security, the new show aims to accelerate the development of key technologies and equipment, optimize industrial structure, promote needs-based development in the emergency services industry and improve international communication and cooperation.
CEFE powered by INTERSCHUTZ is organised by Deutsche Messe, the China National Machinery Industry International Company (SINOMACHINT), the Guangzhou Lisheng Exhibition Company, the Guangdong Xinhaijun Development Company and the China Association for Disaster Prevention.
It will take place at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) running from 5th to 7th November 2019. It is expected to occupy an area of about 20,000 m2. Nearly 300 companies will showcase at the new show and it is expected to attract approximately 10,000 industry professionals. Product categories covered will include fire brigades, rescue services, monitoring and early warning systems, preventive fire protection, civil protection and protective equipment.

Mumbai, 5th March: Messe Berlin, an international exhibition organiser, announced plans to launch ITB India, a B2B travel trade show and convention, in 2020. Running from 15th to 17th April 2020, the show will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai.
ITB India aims to bring together key travel industry leaders and buyers from India and international exhibitors from the MICE, leisure and corporate sectors. The show will be organised by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Limited and will be supported by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce.

New Delhi, 10th January: At the 12th edition of the International Fire & Security Exhibition and Conference (IFSEC) India, UBM India announced plans to launch a preview show in Dhaka, Bangladesh later this year.
Running from 5th to 7th December 2018 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, IFSEC India featured over 350 brands from more than 20 countries. According to the organiser, in addition to global brands, the event attracted key government officials, consultants and business experts.
At the inaugural session of IFSEC India, UBM India also announced its plans to launch a preview show in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 18th to 20th April 2019. The preview show will provide a new platform for the Bangladeshi market to enhance its safety and surveillance services. The event will also feature a conference, product launches live demonstrations.
