Dallas, 2nd October: Freeman, a leading global provider of live events and brand experiences, announced that the company has acquired Convention Data Services (CDS), an event registration, business intelligence, and lead management company servicing event organisers worldwide. Financial details for the acquisition were undisclosed.
CDS has provided event registration and digital services for leading show organisers for more than 30 years. The acquisition will strengthen Freeman’s seamless and scalable global products and services for live events and experience. Together with the acquisition of Info Salons in 2018, Freeman now has the industry’s most comprehensive global event registration and digital services offerings.
Following the acquisition, Freeman plans to bring together CDS and Info Salons, to create a “robust, holistic event registration offering for its customers.” CEO of Info Salons, JoAnne Kelleway, will lead the product integration strategy of the combined teams.
