Singapore, 1st August: The International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) will host its 25th World Congress of Dermatology in Singapore in 2023 marking the first time it has been held in the Southeast Asia.
The congress will be held in July 2023 featuring the theme of “Dermatology Beyond Borders.” Plenary and breakout sessions, workshops and site visits will be held during the congress.
It is expected to attract some 15,000 local and foreign delegates and generate more than S$28 million (US$20 million) in tourism revenue. The congress will be largest medical convention ever hosted in Singapore. The World Congress of Dermatology is held every four years. The most recent edition was held in Milan, Italy in June 2019.
