Shanghai, 7th July: Earlier this month, ISPO Shanghai, a leading event serving sports business professionals in China, concluded at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). ISPO Shanghai attracted 15,600 trade visitors – which represents an increase of 8% over last year.
Organised by Messe München, ISPO Shanghai ran from 5th to 7th July featuring about 550 brands from a range of sectors including running, outdoor, health & fitness, winter sports and water sports. In addition to the exhibition, exhibitors and visitors also participated in a matchmaking program to connect with both Chinese e-commerce providers and retail chains.
Tobias Gröber, Executive Director Business Unit Consumer Goods at Messe München and Director ISPO Group, commented, “The atmosphere in the full halls was very good. The great interest underlines the importance of ISPO Shanghai as the leading platform for the international sports business in China.”
The next edition of ISPO Shanghai will return to SNIEC running from 2nd to 4th July 2020.
