Singapore to host two new confex events

Singapore, 23rd May: Singapore will host two new events next year, GeoConnect Asia and Gamescom Asia.

GeoConnect Asia, organised by Montgomery Asia, will be held from 18th to 19th March 2020 at Suntec Singapore. Its theme will be “Global Solutions for Asia’s Geospatial Markets.” The two-day exhibition will be supported by conferences and seminars covering various industry verticals. The plenary session will include a leadership panel enabling government departments from across the ASEAN region to discuss cross border issues and standards for the industry.

GeoConnect Asia is expected to feature 65 participating companies from aerial photography & surveying, building information modelling (BIM), earth observation & satellite, LiDAR, mapping & surveying technologies, remote sensing and UAVs, as well as approximately 2,300 trade visitors from across the region.

Gamescom, positioned as the world’s leading computer and video games festival held each year in Germany, will launch its Asian edition in Singapore running from 15th to 18th October 2020. Gamescom Asia will be organised by Koelnmesse and it will include a two-day industry gaming conference and a three-day trade and public exhibition, including e-sports events, emerging tech in video games, gaming workshops, meet-and-greet sessions and cosplay events.

Gamescom Asia will complement the other games-related events in Singapore including Singapore Comic Con, formerly known as the Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention and GameStart Asia, a consumer video gaming convention.
