Tokyo, 13th December: SIGGRAPH Asia 2018, the “ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Technologies in Asia,” posted new record numbers at the Tokyo International Forum in Japan. Close to 10,000 participants from 60 countries and regions attended SIGGRAPH. Visitors included computer graphics professionals, researchers, consumer enthusiasts and various trade visitors. According to the organiser, this 11th edition of the conference was the largest event in its history.
Approximately 750 speakers presented at the conference, running from 4th to 7th December 2018, focusing on a wide variety of topics addressing the development and future of the computer graphics and interactive techniques industry. Organised by Koelnmesse, the exhibition, running from 5th to 7th December, featured 93 exhibitors from 14 countries, showcasing the latest hardware, software, technologies and innovations.

The next edition of SIGGRAPH Asia will be held for the first time in Australia. It will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) running from 17th to 20th November 2019.
