After the acquisition, Acxiom’s data capabilities will become part of IPG’s creative, marketing and data portfolio, IPG Mediabrands. Dennis Self and Rick Erwin will both remain co-president of Acxiom and report to IPG chief data and marketing technology officer, Arun Kumar.
Today, Acxiom employs 2,100 staff worldwide, including 1,600 data specialists responsible for data management, strategy, analytics and audience creation and modelling tools. Acxiom has four offices in Asia: Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai and one in Nantong, China.
