Mumbai, 6th June: Recently, UBM India has concluded the 6th edition of its Concrete Show India 2018 at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in Mumbai. According to the organiser, the event recorded over 30% growth in visitor numbers.
More than 150 Indian and global suppliers and manufacturers from 10 countries joined the three-day show, showcasing products, solutions and services addressing the construction and infrastructure industries including key segments such as roads and highways, housing, airports, ports, power rail, tunnels, dams and bridges.
Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, UBM India, commented, “Improvement in infrastructure is a necessity for a country like India. With a boost of more than 5.97 trillion for infrastructure in the Union Budget 2018, the sector will witness a huge positive shift in FY 2018-19. A number of policies aimed at removing infrastructural bottlenecks as well as promoting sustainability of resources, have been initiated by the Union Government to further propel the industry’s overall development.”
The next edition of Concrete Show India will be held from 16th to 18th May 2019 and it will once again be held at BCEC.
