Bangkok, 6th June: The first co-located Asian Paper & Tissue World Bangkok opened on 6th June, at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), showcasing over 100 exhibiting companies from 18 countries, with their latest technologies and solutions serving the pulp, paper, tissue, packaging industries.
Key categories covered at the show included paper converting machineries, tissue packaging machineries, stock preparation, bleaching chemical solution, sanitary product OEM manufacturing to name a few. According to the organiser, UBM plc., a total of 1,325 trade visitors from 77 countries pre-registered as of 1st June.
A pavilion dedicated to non-woven products was also launched at the show. Exhibitors at the Non-Woven Pavilion are primarily from China’s Fujian province supplying household paper, adult and children’s diapers, sanitary napkins and other types of products for at-home usage, but some exhibitors are also covering segments addressing the healthcare and construction industries.
UBM is also organising a conference held concurrently with the exhibition featuring over 20 presentations under the overall theme of “Shaping Success: Strategies for Sustainable Growth in Paper, Packaging and Tissue.”
