8,000 visitors at inaugural Labelexpo Southeast Asia

Bangkok, 22nd May: Earlier this month, international exhibition organiser, the Tarsus Group, held the inaugural edition of its Labelexpo Southeast Asia. The exhibition attracted nearly 8,000 trade visitors from 62 countries.

Held from 10th to 12th May 2018 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Labelexpo Southeast Asia is positioned as one of the leading label and package printing events in the region. A total of 174 exhibitors showcased their latest products and services at the event which covered more than 4,100 m2.

Labelexpo Southeast Asia was supported by the Thai Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP) under the Minister of Industry as well as the Thailand Screen Print and Graphic Image Association (TSGA). A conference program and “Label Academy” workshop were held during the exhibition. The conference featured presentations and sessions by leading printers in Southeast Asia, while the workshop covered topics of design, inks, and supporting technologies.

Jade Grace, project director for Labelexpo Southeast Asia, commented, “Given the success of this launch edition, it is poised to be a game changer for the region’s printers and has great potential to become one of our largest Labelexpo events. Floor bookings for our 2020 edition are already flooding in – the fastest ever for a Labelexpo show.”
