Messe München organises 3 electronics exhibitions in Shanghai

Shanghai, 16th March: International exhibition organiser, Messe München GmbH concluded three electronics exhibitions in Shanghai earlier this month. electronica China, productronica China, and LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA were all held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), running from 14th to 16th March.

Two concurrent events, electronica China and productronica China, featured a total of 1,374 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions. That represents an increase of 12% over last year’s edition. Occupying an exhibition space of 80,000 m2, a 16% rise compared with last year, the two exhibitions attracted 77,765 visitors to the three-day shows. Visitor numbers were up 14% year-on-year.

electronica China showcased cutting-edge electronic components and systems applied in connected vehicles, IoT, Industry 4.0, AI, 5G and consumer electronics, with the theme of “Bring the Future to the World.”

A total of 997 exhibitors from 25 countries were showcased at LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA, covering an exhibition space of 51,750 m2. During the three days, 55,872 trade visitors attended the show. Exhibitors showcased their cutting-edge technology at the show, highlighting the impetus of “Made in China”.

The three exhibitions will return to Shanghai next year, running from 20th to 22nd March 2019, once again at SNIEC.
