Hong Kong, 4th January: This week, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) hosted its concurrent toys & games fair, baby products fair and stationery fair, as well as fashion fair, featuring more than 4,300 exhibitors. These exhibitions will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
The Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Hong Kong Baby Products Fair and Hong Kong International Stationery Fair took place from 8th to 11th January. The 44th Toys & Games Fair featured 2,100 exhibitors from 45 exhibitors and regions, including first time exhibitors from Estonia, Russia, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam, and six pavilions from the China, Korea, Spain, Taiwan and the U.K., as well as the “World of Toys” pavilion.
The 9th Baby Products Fair showcased more than 580 exhibitors from 27 countries, with new exhibitors from Argentina, New Zealand and Portugal. The 18th Stationery Fair, organised by both the HKTDC and Messe Frankfurt (HK), welcomed some 260 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, with pavilions from Korea and Taiwan.
Later in January, the HKTDC will open the 49th edition of Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter from 15th to 18th January. Some 1,400 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions will showcase the latest fashion design, global brand collections, garments, fashion accessories, fabrics and clothing accessories.
This year’s theme will be “New-World Explorers”. New zones at this year’s edition include “Corporate Fashion and Uniforms” and “World of Fashion Accessories”. The “Corporate Fashion and Uniforms” will include a fashion parade and a seminar for the uniform market, while the “World of Fashion Accessories” will feature the latest designs from the bags, footwear, legging & socks, gloves, scarves and shawls segments.
