HKTDC’s licensing show attracts 220,000+ visitors

Hong Kong, 8th January: The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) recently concluded its 16th Hong Kong International Licensing Show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).


Positioned as the world’s second largest and Asia’s largest event of its kind, the show featured more than 380 exhibitors, including six group pavilions from China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan. Running from 8th to 10th January, more than 22,000 visitors from about 100 countries and regions attended the three-day show.


Concurrently, the HKTDC held the 7th Asian Licensing Conference from 8th to 9th January, featuring some 30 speakers from renowned brands global licensing experts, and more than 1,500 attendees joined the conference.


HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Raymond Yip, said, “Hong Kong is Asia’s licensing hub as well as a city filled with creativity. The Licensing Show showcases Hong Kong’s creative force and connects local design talents with potential with potential partners and transforms their creativity into business opportunities via licensing explore licensing.”
