Shanghai, 15th December: Last month, international exhibition organiser, Tarsus Group, concluded its Labelexpo Asia 2017. The event featured over 20,000 buyers, which represents an increase of 20% over the last edition held in 2015.
The biennial Labelexpo Asia, now in its eighth edition, took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), running from 5th to 8th December 2017. Occupying an exhibition area of 10,774 m2, some 300 companies exhibited at the show, including 80 first time exhibitors. The exhibition offered more than 50 working machines live on the show floor.
James Samuel, events portfolio director, Labelexpo Global Series stated, “Strong quality content is always key to a show’s success and our conference program run in partnership with PEIAC and dedicated focus on digital and smart technologies has kept the show fresh and relevant. Asia has the biggest demand for labels by volume and with 42 digital suppliers at this year’s show, it really highlights just how much the market is shifting towards short runs.”
The next edition of Labelexpo Asia will be held from 3rd to 6th December 2019, returning to SNIEC.
