Kuala Lumpur, 21st September: International exhibition organiser, UBM plc, announced at its security, fire and safety event, IFSEC Southeast Asia in Kuala Lumpur that future editions of the event will alternate between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur beginning next year.
The first Bangkok edition will take place at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Centre running from 14th to 16th November 2018 and it will be supported by the Royal Thai Police, Asian Professional Security Association (APSA) Thailand Chapter, and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). UBM will also launch a new exhibition, POLSEC, focusing on police security products such as anti-riot equipment, ballistic helmets, body armour, clothing, countermeasure devices.
ChiruitIsarangkun Na Ayuthaya, President of TCEB, stated, “With IFSEC Southeast Asia moving to Bangkok, we hope Thailand’s industry players and users will benefit by meeting directly with leading global brands and witnessing the latest products and technologies to be used in the nation.”
IFSEC Southeast Asia 2017 was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) running from 6th to 8th September. Products were showcased at the show included access control and biometrics, CCTV and surveillance, cybersecurity, drones, fire alarms, fire detection, fire protection, gates and doors, home automation, intelligent building and physical security services.
