Hong Kong, 6th September: Last week, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) concluded its fashion event, CENTRESTAGE, attracting some 8,500 buyers from 73 countries and regions, which is an increase of 2.6% over last year’s event.
Running from the 6th to 9th September, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), more than 210 fashion brands from 22 countries and regions were showcased at the show. The theme of this edition was “Nouveau Playhouse” and it featured three unique zones: GLAM, ALLURE and METRO. The event also featured fashion shows, designer sharing sessions, industry forums, seminars and networking activities.
HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Benjamin Chau, commented, “CENTRESTAGE is an ideal promotion and launch platform for Asian fashion brands and designers. We are gratified to see that in its sophomore edition, CENTRESTAGE continued to be a focus of attention for Asia’s fashion industry.”
