Hong Kong, 27th July: The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will open four lifestyle-themed fairs later this month at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) featuring more than 1,900 exhibitors.
The 28th Food Expo, showcasing some 1,500 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions, will feature three areas: a Public Hall, a Gourmet Zone and a Trade Hall. The Public Hall will open to public from 17th to 21st August and will feature over 540 exhibitors. The Gourmet Zone will open to public from 17th to 20th August and will feature delicacies from around the world. While the Trade Hall will open to industry professionals on 17th and 18th August and to the public on 19th August showcasing international flavours from over 870 exhibitors. The Trade Hall will also feature product zones including the Halal Food Zone and the Chinese Medicine Zone which is organised with the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM).
The 4th Home Delights Expo and the 2nd Beauty & Wellness Expo, targeting consumers, will run from 17th to 21st August. The Home Delights Expo will showcase over 160 exhibitors featuring household product categories. The Beauty & Wellness Expo will feature over 80 exhibitors showcasing skincare, hair care, spa massage and nail product categories. The 9th Hong Kong International Tea Fair will open to trade buyers on 17th and 18th August and to the public on 19th August and it will feature some 220 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions.
HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Benjamin Chau, commented, “We are happy to have Japan as the Partner Country of Food Expo this year, bringing to Hong Kong more than 330 Japanese exhibitors to introduce their local delicacies and haute cuisine. There will also be a number of cooking demonstrations and product introductions that will allow visitors to experience Japanese culinary culture.”
