Chinaplas changes venues in Shanghai

Shanghai, 5th July: Chinaplas – the International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries will move to a new venue in 2018. Next year’s edition will be held at Shanghai’s mega venue, the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) (NECC). That venue is currently the largest in China featuring over 400,000 m2 of gross indoor space.

Organised by Adsale Exhibition Services and Beijing Yazhan Exhibition Services Limited, Chinaplas 2018 will run from 24th to 27th April. It is expected to occupy an exhibition area of 300,000 m2 and feature over 3,400 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors. In 2016, Chinaplas was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). That edition featured some 3,335 exhibitors and nearly 149,000 visitors. In 2016, Chinaplas covered a gross floor area of 240,000 m2.

Chinaplas is an annual event which is held in Shanghai in even years and in Guangzhou in the odd years. The Chinaplas 2017 was held in Guangzhou at the China Import and Export Fair Complex.
