Jakarta, 4th July: Earlier this week, the Comexposium Group announced a new joint venture with the Amara Group, an event organiser in Indonesia. The joint venture will organise the auto show, GIIAS (GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show). The new partnership will be finalised in August.
Launched in 1986, GIIAS is owned by the GAIKINDO Association (Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries). According to Comexposium, each year the auto show features more than 360 exhibitors and attracts over 450,000 (trade and public) visitors. Under the terms of the new partnership, Comexposium aims to increase international participation at GIIAS and in addition, there are plans to jointly launch new events.
Renaud Hamaide, Comexposium CEO, stated, “I’m delighted to announce this partnership with Amara Group, in line with our strategy of international expansion. This alliance will allow us to combine our Group’s expertise and strengthen Comexposium presence in APAC region… I really look forward to working with this group on that exciting partnership, to develop our activities in automotive events in Indonesia.”
